Hii i am an indian mbbs graduate...graduated recently this year in march and i am also pursuing MBA hospital Management...what career option can i choose in canada....as my fiance is applying for direct pr this year..he is from engineering branch...what course can i do to stay in the medical field because i know getting placement in residency is very difficult....can u pls suggest what field can i take up as my career i mean whether to shift to an engineering career and settle in canada...kindly do respond...thank u!!!

You would need to do an engineering degree if you want to work as an engineer. It is up to you to decide what to do. Hospital management is usually done by practioners that have slowed moved up from the ranks. There may be some opportunities in business related to health or consulting depending on what is covered in your MBA and how much pure business is covered. Many MBBS tend to do another degree when they come to Canada. Did you complete your training as a physician and have you been working in the field and in what specialty?

Thank u soo much for the response...i hav done my bachelor degree in medicine n hav completed one year of paid internship...n currently working in the government sector as a medical officer in phc...can u pls suggest me on how to further progess n what career option to take up so as to support n settle there..as being in the medical filed really looks difficult to cope up...what to do??
