Study permit AIP?

I have applied for a study permit in Canada. Due to COVID 19, I couldn't give my biometric. Now I want to know how long will it take to get AIP if the embassy gives me AIP due to not giving biometric?

Did u do upfront medical? And from which country u applied?

I have applied from Bangladesh and I have submitted all my documents including medical. I couldn't give my biometric just because VFS was closed.

Ok. Official word from IRCC is that AIP is only for people who applied student visa for Fall 2020 term before Sept.15th. But i have seen some posts where people got AIP even if they applied for Winter 2021 term so right now nothing can be said certainly.
