Im new here.I would like to apply work permit and what i have to do for that initially.please guide me.

So you don’t want to immigrate permanently through express entry? You don’t just apply for a work permit. First you need a job offer before you get a work permit. The employer will need a LMIA & prove they could find no Canadian to do the job. The process is long. Also engineering is a regulated profession in Canada so you need to look at requirements.

Start with this site and see if you are eligible (need 67 points) and then if eligible you want around 470 CRS points. Get your education assessed and take language tests. If you are over 30 and you don’t have a masters then you will not have enough points unless you are fluent in french and Englis. All the best.
