Hello,
I was looking forward to pursuing Masters in Computer science domain in Canada for Sept 2021 intake. My problem is I have completed my under-graduate in Electronics and Communications. But, I have also taken a few CS electives during my course-work and have completed a total of 6 months of internship as a software developer in Wipro Technologies and Toyota. Could you recommend some universities offering MS in CS and are accepting students from Electronics background too? I am looking for 16+ month courses and from a Univeristy.
Here is my profile-
B.tech In ECE - 77% aggregate
IELTS- 7.5( with no section below 6.5)
10th- 92%
12th -67%

I think yours is a good profile and you should be able to get in.

I have done MCA and trying to go for MEng ECE in Canada. From what I have heard from others and people on this forum, your previous course should not matter by a lot as long as you can prove why it's worth it and how it can be linked with your current studies. Just write a good SOP and you should be good to go.

Yes I can do that and work on my SOP. But, most of the programs offered for masters in CS require a Bachelor degree from the computer science domain. Hence, I was wondering if someone knows any university accepting students from other backgrounds with good programming knowledge

I doubt they say Bach. in Comp. Sci. They'll probably something like Bachelor or Computer Sci (or equivalent). Not sure what your degree is but Electrical Engineering is a relevant degree for Comp. Sci. Would advise you reach out to the admissions dept. with your concerns.
