Quick question, if my wife’s parents were to come up from the states and do the quarantine for 2 weeks at our house....would my wife and I need to quarantine with them?

Not if they have no interaction with you and have a separate place to stay like your basement with their own bathroom. You can leave food by their door and they can open the door once you step away.

They're letting immediate family members enter, provided that they quarantine. Given that tests are still 30%-40% wrong in their initial take, I doubt they'd be doing instant tests at the border.

It's anyone's guess. However I personally think the quarantine restrictions will remain through to the end of the year.
U.S. still has a very high number of cases. Canada's cases are starting to increase. And everyone thinks infection rates will get worse globally as we move into fall / flu season.

It really is a shame the US handled this so poorly (in my opinion) things might be different.
Think quarantine will be in place for international travellers for a year if not longer. Proof of being vaccinated may allow countries to allow people into Canada without quarantine.

My gut feeling is that it will be in place for a while yet. I just wish something could be done for families that are unable to quarantine(my wife has to complete 600 hours of work by December so she can collect maternity leave) so quarantining doesn’t work for us and her parents simply can’t afford it because of hotel costs and having to get someone to care for their pets. It’s unfortunate but it is what it is at this point.
I can’t even imagine what couples who don’t qualify as family are going through. That must be so hard

I assume they are gonna go extended the quarantine period before September 30? I haven’t been able to find any info
I am a Canadian permanent resident living in US from a while , now with my wife I have decided to begin my journey and Immigarte to Canada , my wife is on visitor Visa for Canada , her PR application is under process. Are we good and allowed to enter Canada via road ?
I don't think it's been officially confirmed yet. I'm sure we'll hear something Monday or Tuesday.
It's guaranteed to happen given cases are rising everywhere. Now is obviously not the time to be reducing / lowering these measures.
