Hello Everyone,

I have just submitted my profile for EE but my overall score says 493 when I check on CRS calculator It was 461 (did 1000 times).

I have gone into detail and found out that I have been given:

CRS - Skill Transferability - Education - 50 (According to calculator 26 were given)

CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education 128 (According to calculator i was given 120)

I am literally very confused about this and I have thoroughly checked my profile 5 times before submitting. I am in a position where I believe I need to withdraw the file before having any rejections for misrepresentations.

PLease adviseme on this as your small help might save me from a mini attack.

Quick Profile Overview:

Age: 28
Eduation: Bacherlors (3Years - WES DONE)
Foreign Experience: 3+ Years (NOC A)
Canadian Education: 2 Years Post graduate Diploma
Canadian Experience: 1year (NOC A, still working there)
IELTS: R: 6.5 W: 6.5 L: 7.5 S:7

I am in dire need of expert help on this, I am broke enough to reach an immigration lawyer for advise.

Yup. 493. You must be misinterpreting one of the questions on the profile.

Hello thevisawhisperer,

Please check If I am missing any details or if you need the more detailed version of the information filled I am happy to share here.

I think this is happening because of what you are choosing in your CRS calculator under section 4.

4) What is your level of education? Try choosing Bachelor's degree here, don't choose 1–2 year diploma
4b) Have you earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate? Choose Yes
4c) Choose the best answer to describe this level of education. Choose 1–2 year diploma

I think you are choosing 1–2 year diploma for question 4 and 4c both. Which means the calculator will only give you points for what it is assuming is the maximum education you have, whereas you have a bachelors + 2 years (Canadian) on top of that. The EE profile is able to calculate this but the CRS calculator is not.

Does that solve the issue?

I ran your profile through the IRCC site CRS calculator and it looks like it has given double credit for Canadian education, resulting in 15 too many points. Your actual score appears to be 478. It would be 461 if you enrolled yourself as married. Are you?

Hello
mknox
,

I think you are right the calculator does not calculate both educations for points.
Indeed I have 3 years bachelors degree + 2years Canadian post

3years foreign experience + 1year Canadian experience.

grad diploma,

and for the experience I go like this:

And the crs score will give me 461 in the end.

So to sum up sir you meant that ee profile is accurate in my case as it is counting points for my both college degree;'s 3yrs + 2yrs diploma

no, I have not enrolled myself as a married person. I have posted the photos above for my crs calculator. Please check it for detailed overview

It appears to be double crediting your Canadian education 15 bonus points. But the important element of whether you are married or not remains. I believe that is the difference between a 461 result and the 478 I calculated on the basis of single/never married.
