its not compulsory...interview can be done to people with first time married too...it depends on case to case...if there is no ADR....or anything...its a good sign.

How they verify background/security screening checks? Just cross check from papers or do they hire someone from our country to verify?

They have their own sources such us third parties who provide those kind of service for them. I’m sure they have some kind of agreements in place between themselves. It is one of the serious process as far as sponsorship is concerned. Some sources are boarder securities, foreign ministries and so on. It’s not just a check mark on docs.

Hi guys
Would anyone tell if someone has agent dealing in Canada for sponsorship application. Can the sponsor could also get access to GC key for their knowledge? I assume It wouldn’t affect the overall process or would it nullify anything from IRCC Perspective? If anyone is dealing with such situation let me know?

I'm also dealing with a lawyer. They told me I would have to create my own GC key, then the lawyer would not have any access to the file and only we would.

She can send her request by email to MP or send a fax.

For those folks who reside in Canada, do you by any chance happen to know if the new CRB (Canada Recovery Benefit) which kicks in on September 27 will disqualify/ or negatively affect spousal sponsorship in any way at all ?

CERB has nothing to do with sponsorship cases.
It was an emergency program for any one who has earned some money minimum like CAD 5800 in 2018
Yes you ( the person who has sponsored his or her spouse ) received EI ( EI not during these Pandemic though because during this time it's absolutely genuine ) or any other welfare that might get effected.
