Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Seniors, my wife and I would like to hire my wife's sister through the Home Child Care Provider Pilot Program to take care of our children 8 year old and twins 9 months old. I have a Business Number already
  1. Need some help with a Job offer template (Alberta)
  2. Need some help with template for contract letter that states wages offered, benefits, vacation and time off etc.
  3. My sister-in-law has experience taking care of her nephew for the last 2 years in India, is this an acceptable premise to be granted permit
  4. Is there a minimum annual income requirement to be eligible as a employer
Thank you so much, may be I am asking a lot but any help is appreciated

You dont need templates for job offer or contracts.
What you need to do is make a job offer with the IMM form 5983.
For proof of ability to do the job, the caregiver needs to atleast take some caregiving courses.
See my blog: http://caregiverimmigration.blogspot.com

Hi Twinkleberry, I just want to ask if before filling up the IMM 5983, does the employer need to go through employer portal and pay the $230? Thank you for your thoughts on this.

1. Just follow the link for the outside canada & no 24mos experience inside Canada.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/caregivers/child-care-home-support-worker/no-experience-apply.html

2. Salary - median rate, as of Nov.2021 18CAD/hr is the median rate for caregivers in Calgary. Check job bank for any updates for the rates on different rates in different provinces.

- Vacation- my sister-in-law and I put 14 days annual vacation leave and 15days sick leave per year also (just to make sure, coz there is no rules about sick leaves). Then 2 days off every weekends.
- Benefits - medical insurance, accommodation, free meals, overtime pay after 30hrs work per week, Free air fare after 24mos, in case of death or

3. It is stated in the guidelines or even in the checklist (IMM 5981)that paid or unpaid experience will do, juat provide a letter of employment as proof, stating the number of hours of work.

4. Employer aholud atleast have 150kcad or less per annum refer to link https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/foreign-workers/caregiver/requirements.html

Just follow all that requirements that are listed on the IMM 5981 and your good to go, just remember you do not need to provide all items on the checklist, example the Schedule B and just put NA in the boxes that you don’t need to provide.

I hope this will help you. God bless
