If somebody entered in canada as student after few month filed refugee status and got positive decision.... then student permit time count toward citizenship time?
Each day of physical presence in Canada as an authorized temporary resident or protected person before becoming a permanent resident, counts as one half day, with a maximum of 365 days credit towards physical presence.

Time you spent as student before you apply for asylum counts for citizenship( one day in Canada gives you half day credit). Any time you spent in Canada after you apply and while waiting for your hearing doesn't counts for citizenship even if you had a valid work or studen permit. Any time you spent in Canada from the day you had a positive answer still you landed as PR counts for citizenship.
