I got my AIP today in GCKEY but there is no mention of any embassy below it. Most people seem to have that.

Not particularly worried but just curious what this means

No. I haven't seen embassy written in AIPs. It just ends with :

Thank you,

I observed today, whoever received letter, it was without embassy stamp. Including mine

Why do people call it AIP?
I received this letter, BUT I could not find "AIP" neither in this letter nor in GCKEY...

it was initially referred to Approved in Principle, and I think Approved in Principle was also mentioned on some earlier letters (not sure). They dont write this anymore in the letter but the concept is similar. Preliminary approval basically.

>< I could not find AIP anywhere in my Email.
I think this situation is quite confusing after I saw some students from Pakistan were refused after AIP... I am really sorry to hear this news...
We are bearing some uncertain consequences without anyone could give us an exact answer.
