i received a message today regarding medical exam...mentioning that i need to give them a medical exam but ive lived more then 6 months in Saudi Arabia so it shouldn't be required for me idk why they are asking me for this exam..... i did apply here in Pakistan(where the medical exam is needed) but i guess they dont know i spent my whole life in Saudi Arabia

Okay so it maybe because they are anticipating that you will be in Pakistan for a total of 6 months because of the current situation. And you need to have lived consecutively for 6 months to require medical exam.

Just to confirm, if you have lived in Pakistan for 6/12 months in last year, (I think consecutively) then you need medical exam

You can't debate with them on why you have received a Medical request. Just go and get it done. Check tomorrow around the same time if there's an update on the application.
If they asked for it, they you gotta get it done. Similar thing happened with me. I am a returning student who came to India during March end. Since January I was in US and before that, in Canada. And they still asked me for medicals around end of July.
