Hi everyone, please review my timeline as shared below (In June I received a ghost update that changed from "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided." to "November 25, 2019 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided." Only addition of the date i.e 25 November does that slight change mean any progress in my case?

Review of eligibility
  • We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results
  • You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Review of additional documents
  • November 25, 2019 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.
Interview
  • You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics
  • November 7, 2019 Completed.
Background check
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made

When did you submit additional documents? I have submitted on 6 March and then they started reviewing documents on 6jul2020. After that no update....AR- nov2019
How many updates you got after submitting additional documents. I mean when they started reviewing first time and after that any changes in GC key?

CIC requested an additional document on 23 July 2019 and I submitted the document on the same day through the web form.

Here is the timeline of additional documents since the day I linked my paper application to the online tool:
  • We need additional documents to process your application. We will send you a letter or email with details. (23 July 2019)
  • We have received the additional documents you provided (13 November 2019)
  • We are reviewing the additional documents you provided (15 march 2020 approximately during this time my file was moved from CIO to the Local Visa office i.e NDVO)
  • November 25, 2019, We are reviewing the additional documents you provided ( updated on 2 June 2020)
P.S the additional document I submitted was just a resubmission of a form as the form I sent through mail was not properly printed.

I got DM on Wednesday,,,, no update /no email.. i am not sure if i give a phone call to IRCC , Do they will tell me result?

Yes just put all the documents in canada post envelope
Arrange all docs by checklist
Put the checklist in front of all
Also dont forget to sign by hand on the forms
Otherwise your application will be returned back

Just drop the photographs and fees reciept in envelope ...no need to staple the documents
