Though I see there are many Canadian Universities who are offerings same degree. Curriculum is almost same and duration is 1 year with Canadian Universities.

In my experience WES considers all masters degrees (MBA) equivalent to bachelor's degree in Canada except the MBA completed from IIM and IIT. You can check the same in equivalency tool. Generally IQAS provide Master equivalency for non IIT , IIM MBA's.

I got my MBA evaluated from IQAS and I got masters in evaluation. It was 2 years full time program after my engineering.. If you are looking masters equivalency for your course then IQAS is your best bet. I got my degree evaluated in less that one month from IQAS

Document reached WES offices - 4th August(As per Courier )
WES Picks the document only on Monday / Tuesday (Confirmed by WES call center)
Document was picked by WES on 10th August
Status remain unchanged till 24th August
check the WES notice board. They publish the timeline of the timeline for considering the document for evaluation with respect to date at which it was picked by WES (Not courier delivery date)
Documents received status on WES - 24th August
All documents were reviewed and accepted. - 27th August - ETA was proposed - 09/24
Status changed to - "Your report is under final review and your evaluation will be sent to your recipient(s)". - 09/27

Now waiting for final report will keep the forum posted with the date.

Do we need to upload the Degree certificate in the WES My Account portal? One of my friends did his ECA earlier this year and he did not have this step but now it shows in the Required Documents Checklist. Anyone who did their WES recently can clarify on this? This is for Anna University Chennai.

I got the ECA final report today so since they have accepted my document , I got the ECA in 8 days.

Degree and translation if intently not in English should either send by university or upload through a portal by you.
So, for each credential Degree and transcript (plus their english translation) are needed.
Transcript must be sent by university directly . you can upload degree and its translation.
Finally , your friend should check what exactly reflects on his timeline .

CIC came with a draw and cut off was 475. Cut off seems to be going up. Maybe it is due to backlog. Going forward, I guess it should come down to 468 or so in next 5-6 drwas.
Anyways Congratulations to all of those who got through

Yes got the ITA. Score 477.

It has been a crazy journey so far.

or little bit share here please such as your language score and education Level and your NOC please

I think, this is my perception, I'm not sure already, it will decline after we are confronting with normal situation [mostly means after pandemic ] ,yet I'm not sure to which score , but many believe that it reduce like previous score's draw , hopely as you've mentioned 468 to 472 would be normal
