Hi guys,

When I sent my first webform asking for the progress of my application and got the following response:

The background verifications are currently valid.
The security background verification is currently valid.
The criminal background verification is currently valid
.

I realised they didn't mention about eligibility like I had asked and sent another webform and got the following response:

The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied.

On my third webform in under 2 weeks asking what 'currently valid' meant I got the following response:

-The eligibility review has been met.

-The security background verification has been met.

-The criminal background verification has been met.

Please note the second and last webform came 3 days apart. Guys, Im even more confused now. Are these guys just playing around with words lol? Does this now confirm that im just waiting for PPR? Please help.

Thanks in advance.

The primary applicant has to travel and land either before either dependent members, or along with them. Dependent family members cannot land before the primary applicant does.

As regards pregnancy, there is no point informing IRCC unless the child is born. This is because IRCC cannot add an unborn child to your application. As soon as the child is born, you should inform IRCC and submit your child's documents so that the baby can be added to the application.

If your PR has been approved and COPR issued, and you cannot travel to land due to pregnancy, then you should inform IRCC before your COPR expires and seen an extension.
@legalfalcon thankyou :)

Got Ghost Update today! First one I have seen in my profile since submission.
Seems Syndey office is waking up finally !

@legalfalcon, would request some assistance from you on my case. I am SINP nominated. Have seen on my GCMS that the city of destination mentions Regina. But I intend to settle in Saskatoon. So incase if city of destination is mentioned as Regina on the COPR is it ok to move to Saskatoon and can I inform this to the immigration official (when they ask me where I am headed to and to provide an address for PR Card to be mailed) at the port of first entry which most probably is going to be Toronto.

Hello guys, what does it mean changes the application status from ( Submitted ) to ( Application/ Profile updated ) ? I am PNP Outland, AOR 31 Jan 2020, please need an answer ?
This is what is commonly referred to as 'ghost update' (GU).... It implies progress or action by an officer in your file..

Hello everyone, please anyone with Accra Ghana VO?.
My application got to 100% on July 27, i raised a webform directly to Accra VO on the 28, but I am yet to get a response till today.
Anyone with experience on Accra VO?. I am wondering about the implications of raising another webform.

Simply request for a GCMS note. That will help clarify as regards the status of your application.

Yea, needs to be clarified. Waiting for @legalfalcon to advise on it as well.

The city of destination in your CORP does not matter. If you are aFSW, you can land in Canada, and after you are admitted as a PR, you can settle in any part of Canada, including QC (just that you cannot have an intention to settle in QC when before or one you enter Canada).

If you are a PNP, then you have to settle in the nominating Province. The city on the COPR does not matter as long as it is in the same province. Also, if the city you wish to settle in incorrectly entered in your COPR, you do not have to get it corrected.

As regards the PR Card address, you can provide any address in Canada. It need not have to be of the same provide as the nominating province. However, if you are not QC nominated you cannot provide a QC address.

Hey everyone, I had my medical exam redo on February, and the status shows from you passed the medical exam to you do not need a medical exam, does this mean they haven't reviewed my new med exam? does anyone have a similar situation here, please?

Finally I have successfully received GCMS notes. As expected my application is under Covid Pace. Everything is showing as passed.
Is there anything specific I need to check?

Looking for valuable advice.

Thankyou
