Eligibility is the master step that decide if yes or not relationship is genuine on the PA side,

It was done last for us. The sponsor eligibility is first. The principal applicant eligibility seems to come near the end from what I've seen.

So the table I see in the ecase is not in order?
Mine is in this order:
Application Received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
We have received your application and will review it in order of receipt. We will send you an acknowledgement letter.

Documentation Verified by IRCC
We are reviewing your application to make sure it is complete and that no documents are missing. We will return incomplete applications for resubmission.

An Interview May be Required
We will review the application and decide if an interview is necessary. If so, we will inform you in writing of the date, time and location of the interview.
Medical Results Received by IRCC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

Approval Status Determined
Your application will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you of the decision in writing.

Permanent Residence Status Determined
If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence
Applicant Arrives in Canada and is Granted
Permanent Residence
You will need to meet with an Immigration Officer who will verify your documents and grant you permanent residence if all is in order.

Mine is the same. This is also useless. Mine says everything is in process but my background and eligibility and everything is complete but still says processing

Mine even said do not need interview when in the notes it said interview required. I stopped looking at my Ecas and gckey a year ago. I opened it for the first time a few days ago to get the pre arrival services email

It really is. I ordered my notes about 5 times total over 19 months and that is the only way I was able to follow my application and know what's happening and I'm thankful I did that rather then to rely on gckey and ecas

Ours are the same . Gckey & ecas. July 2018 applicants. So I’m guessing we should expect ppr soon!!!
 
I reached out to my MP's office again to see what the status of my husbands application; unfortunately, they weren't all that helpful. They pretty much reiterated the response we get from the Mexico VO via email, that the application is still in process, they don't require additional information.. the last time we received a request for additional documents was August 5 2019!

Anyone else considering getting their spouse a visitor visa while they wait?
