I have been calling them. Spoke to their supervisor as well. You submitted on the 20th like my wife. Everything will be done before the end of August and you will have your ECA. I completed my evaluation with 2 weeks. Not electronic. WES is trying but can be frustrating sometimes
Makes sense. Did they give you an approximate timeline on when they will start processing applications submitted on 20th July?

Yes by next week. However, some stories here are scary
Indeed they are . Especially by Igor. I don't know what WES is doing with his file. Either way, I will update you if my status changes; feel free to do the same when you hear any updates from your wife.

Wait, I don't understand? Does that mean that they did not get your documents yet? Or is it sitting in their mailing facility waiting to be processed? So what has the supervisor advised you to do now? Will they process your documents after all?
They recieved them. You see, the customer care keeps telling me that there is a note in my account that original documents recieved on 22d of JUL and that I have to wait until they scan them. Given the fact that my documents delivered to WES on 8th of JUN, I insisted on the fact that should have been procesed the docs by now. Yesterday, I spoke with the superviser atlegth and during our conversation he told to me that when DHL delivers documents and someone sign them (in my case Z.Maple), it meand that the documents are delivered to their courier which then delivers to the office. The superviser admitted that they asked their courier to hold on a little so my docuetns (and a bunch of others I think) were stuck at their courier from 8th of JUNE to 22d of JULY. Simply speaking, even tho my docs delivered on 8th of JUN, they were not actually delivered to their office and estimation provided by them clearly states "documents recieved in our office by....".
Your point is correct, your docs delivered on 20 JULY and should have beed processed by 31 of JUL. But, I think it could be the same situation and your docs have not been delivered to the office or they have been delivered very recenty and this estimation does not apply to you.
I am very dissapointed from the call yesterday. I spoke with superviser and I mentioned to him the two occations that he personally lied to me (when we spoke on Friday he promised that everything would be good by Monday and when we spoke on Monday he promised that I wld recieve an updae by yesterday afternoon), but he simply said that he was sorry and continued to seep his tea ot coffee. I asked for an escalation and he told me that everything is escalated to the Director of documenttion department. I asked to speak with them or give me their email but got refusef. He told me just wait, that is all.

My sharing (I think I've shared it briefly before):

Background: My documents arrived (here I mean signed for, and by courier) in late May and was supposed to be acknowledged (eventually) by early July but we all know the story here.
So I've had 3 phone conversations with WES's reps in June-July.

  • The first guy I spoke with (early June) was very helpful, polite and patient, yet he couldn't give me anything concrete (still early huh).

  • The second lady I spoke with (late June) was totally unhelpful and impatient and refused to give me any details (their progress and such)...

Then WES updated their notification page at some point in early July... yet 2 days after the pledged deadline my status was still on hold so I called them again.

  • The third lady I spoke with (early July)... I was fortunate enough to have spoken with this nice rep who put me on hold during my call and escalated this to her supervisor right away. She came back and asked me to raise a web form while she's still on the line, so that she could acknowledge my form and forward it to her team leader (or something like that) right at the spot. She promised that my package would be dug/ fished out from the sea and my status would be updated on the same day... and it did.

It might have been luck, or that in fact is within their capabilities.

So... no harm to try ringing them up again (and again?) in hope of getting hold of a more proactive rep if you have the time (and call credits)...
I know my logical self would say NOOO!!! Stop calling them! Let them do their job in peace! But I also understand how nerve-racking it is during the endless wait so... it's all up to you. Just a sharing.

So I just looked at their notification page again and here is what I can see:

Processing of Incoming Mail
  • Documents received in our WES Canada office by July 27, 2020, will be processed by August 7, 2020.
  • Documents received in our WES U.S. office are now being processed within 2-3 business days.

I mean if our documents don't get processed by 7th, it means that these notifications don't mean anything. Technically speaking, mine @Lulu69 's documents should've been processed by now, so I'm really hoping that this time they will keep up with their notification estimates.

@ashu2111, as I mentioned, my documents were delivered by DHL on 8th of JUN but recieved by WES only on 22d of JUL. By 'recieved' I mean that they told me on the phone that there is a note in my account that they recieved the original documents. The status of my application is ON HOLD, no changes.
So, based on new estimation they should be processing my docs and I will keep you posted about the results. The infformation that they held my docs at their courier after for several weeks was confirmed by superviser named Mike, so if someone is abaut to call them in near future, please clarify whether your docs actually recieved. I am afraid, based on my experience with them, if your DHL tracking (or any other post) confirms the delivery before 27JUL, the estimation they have just gave may not appy to you, cuz the dosct might be in the void (at their courier, not at their office).

This is not correct,though.
My package (with courier ) reached on 20 July and post tracker shows it was signed as well, till now I haven't gotten any update

If this is the case then it's obvious that they're being super shady about this. I will update you with the results too (if there is any). Let's see what happens. Keep our fingers crossed.
