Applied Inland (on U.S greencard)

Me and my wife applied for inland spousal paper work with open work permit on March 12th, 2020. And still waiting and aware that cause of covid 19 its gonna take time. I enter Canada last year on Nov 30th, 2019. And we married on 4th december in court by having our family members. But because of covid, I am allowed to travel to United states and come back as immediate family member, because my wife is canadian. The reason I am going to unitedstates is because I have U.S greencard and my whole family live there, and I dont want to give up on my residency in canada until I got PR atleast because we plan to settle in canada instead of U.S.

My question its possible that Montreal airport allow my wife (who is canadian) to travel with me to united states for 17 days ? and come back after getting covid 19 test?
Because me and my wife are so scared of being apart, and we dont wanna feel the pain of staying away from each other, plus we have not hear any reply from cic about our paper work, so keep my residency safe in United states we have to take a travel once n twice in each year.

What you advise we should do?

Your wife can fly to the US with you; upon return you two will have to quarantine for 14 days. The only issue with leaving Canada while waiting on inland processing is it can be treated as you abandoning the application.

Thank you so much for reply. what stuff we need to get when she travling with me aside from covid 19 get tested and plans to stay my sister place for 15 days in our room.

i plans to call cic. about my paper work. i would love to come back soon. but because quarantine is important so we have to stay there atleast 15 to 17 days. before coming to canada

It's good that you're planning to quarantine in the US but I will point out is it not legally required or enforced in most states (ugh).

Dx (ugh) i m aware. but for safety and all paper work me and my wife need to take care of ourself. if it was not because of Greencard I was planning to stay! until I got the PR in canada but I had to. No one knows bad time!

Not sure if you realize that you need to be staying in Canada during sponsorship process if you apllied inland. A short trip of 2-3 weeks i overlooked but not more. You need to spend the rest of the time in Canada or your sponsorship could get denied. Does your wife have healthcare coverage in the US? Do you? Without covid coverage you are risking a very large bill.

Thank you for replying, yes thats why we are trying not to overstay! more than 5 days, we check the american embassy.
they usually care about 2 weeks or so. all we need is to enter and come back.
