Hi folks
non resident with business company and current account in Toronto, Can travel for businesses promotions.
Thanks

Thanks for advise.
Mean to say those who have Invested in Canada don't come under necessary travel. There must be some route.
Thanks

If your business in Canada falls under critical infrastructure / essential services, then you may be allowed to travel to Canada as a business visitor. More information is available here:

https://www.publicsafety.gc.ca/cnt/ntnl-scrt/crtcl-nfrstrctr/esf-sfe-en.aspx

Note that if you travel to Canada you must quarantine for 14 days once you arrive.

If your reasons for travel are not determined to be essential then you will have to delay your travel until after the travel restrictions have lifted.

Obviously there's a pandemic underway right now so public health and safely is a priority.

Ok so my answer was based on the little information posted 'business promotions' and simply having interest in a business would not be a sole reason unless considered essential for your attendance.

So even if your business is deemed essential and on the list you would still need to convince the airline checkin agent who would have access to CBSA if required that you are authorised to travel. Same on arrival at POE together with a quarantine plan for 14 days isolation, so a minimum stay of 15 days including the 14 days isolation from physically attending your business.

Others can comment/correct but To some degree the list of essential services to me any way is more directed at people in Canada or authorised to work in Canada whilst any pandemic restrictions or any lockdown are in play not so much foreign business travellers wanting to travel to Canada but guess everything is open to interpretation and it is CBSA you have to convince not a public forum

Hi all
I need a advise regarding applying for ICT work permit application. Have corporation and business account ready in Canada, should I attach proof of funds readily available ( in home country) to transfer or transfer before the application placed.
Thanks

Thanks Scylla

I'm not a lawyer and can't advise you. You generally have to prove the company has active operations in Canada.
