Hi everyone, this is second time I'm applying, I applied once in January and got rejection based on purpose of visit and here what was written in GCMS notes -

The applicant has failed to satisfy me that pursuing the selected program of study is reasonable given the high cost of international study in Canada when weighed against the potential career/employment benefits after completion, and the local options available for similar studies. See LOA. Therefore, I am not satisfied that the applicant would be a bona fide student in Canada who will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for their stay.

It's because I did my graduation and then I applied for Diploma in Business Management (which is lower level of study than graduation and it shows no progression), I guess that was the reason. This time I applied for Business Management post graduation course!

Did I answer GCMS note's rejection reason by choosing PG course?

Please everyone advise me.

@VyasGill

I just skimmed through the VO notes . What mainly caused your refusal is clear . You couldn't established that your intended program benefits will outweigh it's associated cost. As well, you couldn't convince the VO enough that program will significantly improve your career prospects despite it being a Diploma course

Hence you need to draft a strong *SOP * stating the benefits of the program. How it will improve your salary, position or contract awards etc.

Yes, highlight the VO's comment and address it well, I believe with good explanations and proofing with stats , you stand a better chance of getting approval.

All the best .

Cheers!

It means that the visa officer is not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay or you are a genuine student. Judging by the options you have in your home country and the high cost that you will incur, there is no logical reason that you are a genuine student. You have not justified why you're spending thousands of dollars going to halfway across the world for a post graduation course, the certification you will receive will not substantially improve your career. If your goal is economic reasons, the visa officer doesn't see how you will be able to earn back the cost that you've spent in your home country, whereas you'll be better off financially if you had taken a course in your home country or not at all.

VyasGill, Did you apply for your study permit again, and did you get approved?
