Accepted for extension without medical?

Hey everyone,

My SIL is here from HK since last Dec. She was supposed to go home before flights resume so she applied extension. She was asked to do medical a few days ago and she hadn’t even made appt yet and today got the approval to stay until December.

Could this be an error? Should we be concerned that she never did medical?

Even I was approved. But they asked to do medical within 90 days.

The approval is conditional on the medical being completed. If she doesn’t do it, she is violating the terms. Even if she returned home tomorrow, the medical would still need to be done to avoid future complications.

May I ask when did she apply for extension & for how long?
I applied for my mom in April till Aug 03 but no reply yet.
Was thinking to apply another till Dec.
