Can anyone tell me what exactly happens at LVO?? How long does it take for them to complete processing the case? To my understanding, they're the last step before your case is either approved or denied. My spouse is from Afghanistan.

1-aor 2
2- file being studied by case anlyst
3-moves to a CPO (case processing officer) at this point officer decides weither the relationship is geniune or not if furture documents are requird ADR (additinal documnts request) is being plcd othr possibility is interview call
4- if officer is satisfied with file nd relationship promptly pre-arrivals is being sent
5- bgc (background check) initiats which tks a bit longer dn normal for afghan nd pakistani applicnts
6- once bgc is clear ppr is being sent through email

and onwrds its put on sm rubble mountain to be home fr some dust fr few months.
lvo once strts processing a file and no adr/interveiw is required usually tks thm 2-3 months to reach DM (decision made)
depends upon the info u provided is how easy to be verified. (bgc)
few complicated cases takes btwn a months to year+ to let alone clear the bgc.
in covid-19 situation no mention time frame on their website will be fullfilled
backlog is arround 5 months now this bavklog will cause delays be prepared fr it
oversea packages r mostly carried by airmail once reach lvo gets scaned nd the ppr based file is archived nd soft copy is being assesd by officers
