1. I haven't received an ITA. But I underwent a medical examination in March of this year. Will I be asked to do it again if I get my ITA this month or next month?

2. Also, I see that the COPR expiry is dependent on the medical. So does that mean I will only get until March 2021 to land in Canada?
How do I delay it? I don't want to land so soon. The more the delay in activating the PR the better it is for me.

3. Can I 'land' for the first time in Canada by car from the US?

4. Can I give my friend's address as the address for receiving my PR card

5. Do I need to physically stay in Canada until I receive my PR card? Can I return to the US after landing?

Additional questions:
1. I heard IRCC is giving some leeway for submitting the documents once I get an ITA. Where can I find the correct information about this? Is it the normal 60 days or has it been extended?

2. Are we expecting COVID19 related delays in PR processing?

3. After the PR is approved I know that I need to go to a VFS office and get the single-entry visa stamped and I need to land in Canada before the visa expires.
The expiry of the single-entry visa is 1 year from the date of the medical. Is my understanding correct?

1. Medicals are valid for a year.
2. No way to delay it, unless you ask for an extension due to covid, but by then it's unclear if this will be allowed. Most likely won't be. Just soft land.
3. Yes.
4. Yes, there are some rare occasions where the border agent won't agree to that, but those are few and far between.
5. No, but if you haven't received your PR card before you travel again to Canada, you will need to apply for what they call a permanent resident travel document.

1. it's been extended to 90 days.
2. Yes, minimum processing times are now 6 months.
3. It will coincide with the expiry of your COPR.

Thank you. But how can I give an address to the border agent before I even find a place to rent? Am I missing some context here?

The vast majority of times, you will not have an issue with this.

There have been some rare exceptions where people have said the agent asked if it was another person's address and mandated it can't be.

Again, very rare, i would not worry about it.

I suppose they would say you can arrange accommodation prior to landing.

In that case, I would tell the agent, for now, this is my address but I will change it in the IRCC system for receiving the PR card later once I find a place to stay.

If that were to happen, they'd say they won't put an address for now, once you have an address just update your address on the system.
