I am CEC actually, I have worked in Canada and claimed that work experience in my application.

CEC candidates who have one year Canadian work experience seems to be getting the PR for the past one month or so. I heard even people with AOR in Jan and Feb seems to be getting the PR too.

Hopefully they don’t make it too late for me that I gain one year work experience and need to contact them asking them to consider me as CEC instead of EE FSW. Lol.

I waited 12 years in USA for PR. So this wait doesn’t seem that bad. But feeling anxious though...

All the best to all of us!

Ur still a FSW applicant. Inland outland is not how EE works though.
I see your point... based on GCMS notes people may have seen how there isn’t really any word as inland or Outland.

Present Address and VO seems like the only land related data.

Technically speaking a person who needs to get a visa stamped and cross the border should be considered Outland as they need the support of a VAC outside Canada?

Yeah I didn't get the point "Ur still a FSW applicant" -No, I am not, I got invited under the Canadian Experience Class. And the reason we wonder about the inland vs outland is because of covid and whether we can assume that we get PR soon or not.

And yes I assume that we are inland as out VO is Ottawa, because we reside in Canada.

My primary address is the one in Canada.

Exact same situation for me... One agent said all EE without CEC/PNP are considered Outland. But seems like they try to understand where we are living right now. I am trying to prove to them in various ways that I am inside Canada. Hope they really do consider us as Inland. Same VO for me too. I don’t have any other country listed as a secondary or third VO. That’s one way to consider us as inland I believe. All agents I have talked so far have been saying delay is due to limited staff they have and I should get shortly. Fingers crossed.
Yes, I am in same situation here, I notified CPC-Ottawa on multiple occasion that I am inland ....may be it depends agent to agent how he/she sees you or it doesn’t work that way at all & there are no clear internal SOPs around that.

Let's keep each other informed if we get the good news. If not, I am assuming that we have to wait until international travel is back and then they will consider our applications.

My account doesn’t show anything.it is so frustrating. I am calling immigration, every 2-3 weeks, each time i m getting same response that everything passed except security. It is not started yet. Don’t know what is going on.
Even now my medical is expired. It is already taken 8 months for application submission
Still waiting waiting

As per GCMS there is an assigned Agent and also assignment date. I am well past that date. The agent who I talked with said probably my assigned agent isn’t working. Also she mentioned how assigned group delays the processing too.

CEC and PNP are given priority over EE FSW. This is even without the current situation. The processing teams for these are different too as per my understanding. These are different classes. And they have the VO/VAC based delays too probably...

This time I requested GCMS which has officer notes, rejection reason etc. option instead of the case documents. Looking forward to see how this is different and whether it has ANY update since setting in mid May as ready for approval.

Coming this far I want to refrain from irritating any agent with repeated calls or webform or notes request... but still calling once in two weeks with a cascaded webform and monthly once GCMS. Just hearing something from IRCC through some means every week keeps it a less painful as they online case status is extremely frustrating - hate checking it! It’s of not use. Only the constant communication has helped progress the case in my opinion otherwise it just stays in the stack.

Security has dependency probably with the past countries and whether those offices operate. In my case it was just one neighbouring country for past decade with no travel and fully online processing available in the country I lived in. That probably helped with the quick processing. But doesn’t probably apply to all the countries though as offices may be closed or less in operation. Good luck.

Hey folks! I received an ADR for proof of funds, basically asking me to replace one of the sources of funds I had used. My situation has recently changed since AOR since I now have a valid work permit (previously an inland student) and am starting a job here (no LMIA for the job) in Canada soon. How do you folks think I should approach responding to this request since I believe having a work permit and a job offer might now exempt me from the settlement funds requirement?

Thank you!!

FSW; Dec 6 AOR, No other updates since biometrics, VO-Montreal
