Any suggestions would be helpful - I have seen live cases where PR applications kept in hold though all process were completed months ago just for the reason their spouse are not in CANADA. Considering that current COVID travel restriction it may be true considering only the applications who's family are already in CANADA.

Therefore i am thinking to update my profile saying that i am not bringing my wife to CANADA would help in any terms to process my PR sooner? or is there chances of rejection since i am not bringing my family?

just wanted to know have anyone applied for PR as single though you were married.

Consider the consequences of what you are doing.

If you change your spouse to non-accompanying, you will need to sponsor her for PR afterwards. This process generally takes a year.

You will need to remain in Canada while the application is being processed (apart from maybe a few short trips outside of Canada). And unless your spouse already has an approved TRV, there's a good chance your spouse won't be approved to come to Canada as a visitor while the spousal sponsorship is being processed. So by removing your spouse now, you may be looking at living apart for the better part of a year later.

If you are OK with this, by all means go ahead.
