Hi,

I received my AOR in December 2018. On the 8th of Jan 2020, I received a PFL, stating they weren't satisfied that I had atleast 1 year of full time experience in my stated NOC. By the end of January, I submitted a detailed response. Since then I haven't heard back. I raised a webform for which I got the below response on the 19th of June:

Please be advised that due to ongoing restrictions in the United Kingdom relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, IRCC London is operating at significantly reduced capacity. Your application is awaiting further review but we are unable to advise when this review will take place in the near term. This said, it appears likely that an interview will be required for your case. We are not able to predict when our next interview trip(s) to the region will be possible.

Has anyone else gone through anything similar? I'm a bit anxious, so any help/comments would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

I received my AOR in may 2019 and biomteric in july 2019. I submitted all required documents and passed medical and there is no update after that. It still says we are reviewing your application. My medical changed to you do not need medical yet because it is expired. I contacted IRCC call cebter to which they advised our montreal office has requested for an extension on the medical so they can take decision on your application and everything else is approved (next agent stated completed) . I advised them i did the upfront medical already and they asked to submit it
I submitted it 10 days earlier and no update yet. Is there anyone in similar situation?
Can anyone advise why file is in montreal office instead of ottawa office?

Hi Everyone,

Anyone's gc key is not working today. I tried logging in and it showed your gc key have been previously revoked. I called gc key helpine and was advised it was a system glitch from their side. Anyone in the same situation?

Just got this response from the VO. The only positive point is that I'm not forgotten :D what do you think guys?

Madam, Sir,
This refers to your recent communication.
Please note that your application for permanent residence is currently being processed at our office. Some of our internal procedures, mandatory for all and not exemptable, are still ongoing and are not yet completed.
Please be assured that we strive to process requests as quickly as possible while maintaining quality service. We also wish to draw your attention to the fact that the processing of each application is done according to its own specificities and complexities. This may result in exceeding our average processing times which are given as an indication.
We will contact you as soon as possible. In the meantime, we thank you for your understanding and collaboration.
Best regards.
