I am currently staying in Canada with a visitor visa, due to the pandemic, I can't leave the country before my visa expired. So I am trying to apply online for a visa renewal. It requires me to submit proof of an upfront medical exam. I didn't need to do an exam before I got my visa or came here so do I still need to do one? If not, how do I submit my request with it?

You can be asked at any time for a medical as a visitor. It is not uncommon when asking for an extension. More like 50/50. Have you already been applied for an extension and been asked for a medical? Normally only needed if requested.

I haven't applied yet, it's telling me to provide it before I can even submit it.
