Hi Everyone,

On June 1st, I "landed", which means I was sent a letter stating that I am now a permanent resident and can use that letter to prove it and apply for government programs. I have started trying to apply to various government programs but a few have rejected this letter as proof of permanent residency. Is anyone in the same boat? I called IRCC and they said this letter counts as COPR and to tell the government programs that but I'm not sure how well that will work.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I'm confused. If the letter counts as COPR, then it should be stamped before you formal landed.

You may need to educate since this is a new special inland landing document. It has been created Just for covid.

Is there an official link from ircc that you could point them to?

Which government programs are you applying for?
No official link from IRCC that I can point them to

As for the program the one that has refused the letter so far was Pret et Bourses from Quebec

You likely need proof of quebec residency for that. Did you also include that?
I sent them my CSQ (Certificate of Selection of Quebec) as proof of Quebec residency and they accepted that so that isnt the issue unfortunately, its just the COPR letter itself.
