FSW
NOC Code......

Hello, as the title suggests - my CRS is currently 483.
I received a notification from Ontario today. I'm confused as to what I should be doing? Should I accept it or wait for FSW draws to resume eventually?

I have a few questions that I needed help with:
1. Is there any expiry date for the notification? My assumption is its 45 calendar days since I couldn't find anything specific on the OINP website.

2. If I decline their interest now, would I be eligible/likely to receive one again in the future? This is in case I don't receive an ITA through express entry - which is unlikely given my CRS but you never know!

3. Will I be taken off the express entry pool? If yes, is it after I accept the notification or is it after I am offered a nomination letter from the province?

4. Given the circumstances, how different will the PNP process be from EE in terms of processing time?

5. Will 483 be good enough for EE FSW draws in case I decline the interest right now?

6. In case I accept, can I withdraw mid way and jump back into the pool?

7. Unrelated to the previous points or my original post - will it be possible for a person who is on CRS 465 right now to get OINP NOI/FSW ITA any time going forward? Either one works for my friend as long as they're immigrating to Canada.

I had created my profile early April, 2020 so I'm not really concerned about the expiry date.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

I'd say take it as well. As what @navinball mentioned, no one's sure when an all program EE draw would happen. Think this is the reason why OINP issued those NOIs for FSW candidates with high CRS.

You won't be taken off the EE pool. You have to apply separately in OINP's portal, submit docs, pay $1500. Once OINP is satisfied you have met their requirements (30-60 days), you'll get a certificate of nomination which you'll add to your EE profile to get additional 600 points.

With the trend, 483 looks like a good score now, but no one knows how the EE pool will change in coming months, all we can do is speculate. Applying for provincial nomination in these turbulent times is a better chance as exclusive PNP draws are happening at the federal level on a bi-monthly basis rather waiting for an all program draw to happen (which we don't know when will happen).

You can withdraw mid-way, but once OINP starts processing your application you can't get your 1500 back, I think -- please research on this.

I totally understand where you're coming from since you have a score high enough to get an ITA. You've been given an option albeit a less straigtforward one. Up to you to wait or take apply for OINP.

Take it. There is no guarantee fsw will open this year.
I am in similar situation. I received Ontario noi this Oct 15th. My crs score is 470. I am planning to try out the oinp program. However, should I wait to see if the crs score drops in the coming draws? I would like to hear your advice!!

You have 45 days to submit, right? You can wait and see the next two EE draws, but be ready to submit your docs to OINP the last minute in case you won’t be drawn in the EE invitation rounds.
