Hello Forum Members,

AOR DEC 13, CEC Inland.

I have a question.

When the applicant sees the GUs, are those GUs through emails or messages in the applicant’s account?

Either way, are those emails or messages stored?

Will it be a good idea to ask my agent to check and count the GUs if he has received any on my application if they are stored?

If it’s a good idea, then I wish to ask my agent, followed by sending a web form.

Hello
Received second reply for my webform which I raised on May 17

Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Please note that a longer delay may be experienced to process your inquiry as only critical functions are being maintained at this time by IRCC offices.

You may find useful information related to your enquiry and get the most up-to-date information on how the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is affecting immigration, refugees, citizenship and passport services at the following link:

I didn't know that FSW OW candidates require interview!
My situation is kind of different than normal FSW-O. Because I moved to Canada after AOR, and I am still here (work permit). So if there is no COVID-19, I assume I will need a landing interview after COPR if I don't want to do flagpole. So I think they treat me as an "inland applicant" after PPR.

But apparently, they make adjustments due to the current situation and waive the interview for inland applicants. And before they issued me the COPR proof email, the CPC -Ottawa agent sent me an email, asked me to confirm my residential address. I think they need to confirm I am in Canada now before they issue such COPR proof email which includes a pdf document that can be used to prove my PR status inside Canada.

This is duplicating what others have been sharing, but posting just to add to the clear evidence that things are finally moving forward again!

We received CoPR today via email ("We are pleased to inform you that you are now permanent residents of Canada. Congratulations!")
No interview/etc needed, letter acts as PR document for a year, have 1 year to send in a photo for PR cards.

Our details:
AOR Oct 8
MEP Oct 25
PNP-Inland (we live in Vancouver, I don't know what Visa office had our application)
Webform raised April 19, the response was that eligibility, security background, criminal background were currently valid
Yesterday our online application still said eligibility under review, background check processing, no docs/interview/biometrics needed. If there were any ghost updates, I missed them, and I've been logging in nearly every day since late March.
We did not receive a phone call or advance email that some others have with the questions about landing dates, etc.
We did not receive PPR - this was the first communication we had from IRCC (other than webform response in April) since passing medicals in October.
We did not request GCMS notes, so what you see here is all the info we have.

Just checked and our online account also reflects the new status (approved, CoPR letter included in messages).

Worth the wait!!!!!!!! (not that we had a choice ;))

Oh, I get it now. They have considered you as an Inland applicant which is why you have the COPR. Congratulations!

Hi, my file is pushed back until complete by April 2021. AOR FSW October 2019. So frustrating and stressful. Anyone else?
Are you inland or outland? Had your progress bar reached 100% ? How did you get this notification? Did they request additional documents?
