Got a GU this morning. The last thing pending on my application was security so I'm assuming this has been updated from Not Initiated. Hopefully not long now until I get the golden email

Just got of from the call with IRCC and the agent was kind enough to let me know that Everything is passed, Eligibility, Security, Background, Criminality, Medicals. The Case office still hasn't made the final decision and since the file is with London Office so the agent couldn't tell me when that would happen but since everything seems to be passed, the agent said good luck and expect it to be approved.

Hey, I just log into my CIC account, the status has changed into approved. But I haven’t receive any COPR email either in my personal email or CIC account.

As I mentioned my security stuck in not initiated for months, even on May 25th the webform I received indicating that the security is not initiated. However after the GU on May 27th I called CIC, both security and eligibility have changed into passed directly. And two days later ( today ) i log into my CIC account, the status changed into a final decision has been made which is approved.

So please stay calm if your security always shows not initiated, it could be in processing and will be passed soon

By the way is it normal not receiving any COPR Emails after the CIC account shows the application is approved ?

hi , we have same timeline AOR 23 DECEMBER , CEC INLAND , BC PNP NOMINATED . I call agent today , told me that security not initiated . previously I got response from web form on may 10 that security not initiated . same status after 2 weeks . your post give me some hope . I have question , where can you see ghost update , on gc key ee account , as I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY GHOST UPDATE . WHERE I CAN SEE GHOST UPDATE ON MY EE ACCOUNT . ELIGIBILITY - MET , BACKGROUND CRIMINALITY - PASSED . VO - SYNDEY same like your except security .

Hey sorry for the late reply. When you log into your CIC account, you will say the columns show status in your permanent residency application line. Usually the status column will shows “ submitted”. When you log in seeing that column shows “ application profile updated “, that refer to a GU.
