I was a student in Canada and filed taxes for the last 6 years, and after the completion of my studies last year, I moved from Canada in September. I still have a bank account and family members who live in Canada, but I got a job in November in UK. Do I need to file tax for 2019 as a non resident or not file tax at all? I've also been getting benefits from the govt.

You were a tax resident in Canada in 2019 so yes you do need to file. What do you mean you have been receiving benefits from the government? Since you left Canada? Do you have a spouse and/or children in Canada. Also seems like you are a citizen not an international student.
