Yea.. it isnt possible to sent PPR to outlands with timeline mentioned in it. They will when they are ready to open borders. As u said... there shud be some form.of confirmation for apprival and PPRs can be issued later... I hope they think like this...

The main reasons for not issuing PPR/COPR to outland applicants could be:

1. Air travel into Canada is banned until at least 30 June (except for certain categories)
2. Canada may be making a policy of re-medical etc. to ensure that only corona-negative applicants enter into Canada
3. Unemployment levels lately spiked in Canada. Outland applicants on entering into Canada would either compete for already few jobs or seek aid from the government.

But why IRCC is not at least informing the outland applicants that their files are approved?

It may not be possible for IRCC to inform applicants that their files are approved until IRCC decides whether it needs a re-medical. Maybe the file is not technically approved until the re-medical is done. Anyway, IRCC is already working at limited capacity and wisely using its resources. IRCC will likely send only essential communication like PPR/COPR. They won't send any inessential communication like " Congrats ur PR is approved. Wait for PPR/COPR. We will send u PPR/COPR when the right time comes"

Ya, I agree really.
The outland applicants whose files have been approved will 100% get PR. But no one knows, how much they need to wait. It's really a hard test of patience.

Just an update:-

Received my GCMS notes (ordered on May 01). It is categorically stated that my application has been approved. Waiting for PPR/COPR!

Hi Mona66, could you please share the exact note from the officers(Case Processing agent, Program Assistant and Visa Officer).

Thank you for your time.

They are already issuing ppr for outland applicants where the visa & vfs offices are open. They are only holding back pprs because of vfs offices in many countries have not resumed services.
Once they are up and running the pprs will come in a lot. No one will have take a covid-19 test.

Also,if unemployment was the factor, they would have not invited the Pnp's.

1. As far as I know, VFS offices are operational in some nations but almost no outland applicant in such nations has received PPR/COPR. Can you please tell ....the outland applicants from which country have received PPR? I will be very happy if VFS offices are the only concern coz they are possibly already operational in India or will be in operation soon coz Indian government has permitted the opening of offices in non-containment zones.

2. Regarding COVID-19 test....it simply cannot be ruled out.

3. Regarding unemployment,........in the long run....Canada will continue inviting immigrants as Immigration minister himself recently stated. But my point is that....in the short run.....say 2-3 months...unemployment is going to remain a serious issue and Canada might not be inclined to accept immigrants in these 2-3 months.

US applicants have received ppr even though the borders are closed, Chinese Russian & Austrian offshore applicants have received ppr, kindly check myimmitracker.
Unemployment is an ongoing issue, they cannot stop immigration for that, once the dust settles down on this pandemic, it will be up and running for fsw draws as well.
Also, the outland applicants bring in a minimum of 13000 dollars to spend in the Canadian economy.
You can come back to this post at the latter date and I will have proved my point that those whose medicals are valid won't need to do a medical test, not even for covid 19

All we can do is wait...... n seee.

Inland with Canada job hasn’t got either... even when everything is valid. I used to hear that people got within 4 months in the past. Now it’s almost 6 months. There is a backlog and delay. But things are progressing. Let us all have hope and stay happy.

I regularly check myimmitracker. Not a single OUTLAND applicant from any part of the world has received PPR in May. Please correct me if I'm wrong. @Other members...please enlighten.

Leave unemployment, COVID for a moment....let's settle this VFS-PPR thing first.
