Applied pr under express entry Jan 7 2020.My work permit expired on apr 29 2020. Renewed a bit later within 90 days of expiration date. Do you think it will affect the process?

When did you apply to renew exactly? Did you apply for an extension only or also restoration?

On what basis did you apply to extend? Do you have an approved LMIA?

yes , I applied for restoration and paid the fees as well .

The bridging open work permit is going to be refused. You can only apply for a BOWP while you are still holding a valid work permit. Since you applied after your work permit expired, you no longer qualified and this unfortunately means it's going to be refused.

It's not possible to restore your status back to a BOWP. Your only option was to restore your status to visitor.

As scylla said, it will be refused. Also note that you as you have no status in Canada, you are NOT allowed to work.

Withdraw that app and submit a new app to Restore your status as a visitor.
