seek advice if should go via Agency for job finding

Dear all,

I'm from Singapore and thinking to apply job (ESP - Employer Sponsorship Program) via Agency.
Is there anyone who has job offer within your career through agency?

The agency fees is only valid for 6 months in helping to find jobs.
But not sure if it is the right move to choose. My my job scope is (IT filed, mainly in IT consultant / Project Manager).

Please kindly advice, should give it a try on Agent or try on own-self.

1. Probably a waste of money. Do you think that they will be able to find an employer, who will advertise the position in a number of sites, pay $1K for a LMIA and then be able to convince EDSC that there are no Canadians or PRs available or qualified for the position?

How about trying ownself via job websites (indeed and etc) and linkedin service?
I'm 38 now. going through Express Entry with around 430 CRS is unlikely possible. Would like to know which way would be better to land in there.. (not via Refugee)

You should assume it will not be possible to find a job either on your own or through an agency. You should look for other ways to increase your CRS or look to apply for PR through the PNP programs instead of Express Entry directly.
