What are the pros and cons of raising webform for COPR extension due to COVID 19...
COPR extension is more of a yes or no question.

Can you travel to Canada?
If Yes, you are allowed to do so as a permanent resident and you need to quarantine for 14 days.
If No, you need to raise a webform if you are interested in extending COPR.

Not sure anyone could describe it as a question of pros/cons other than there is a process that requires a web form to be sent to register on the system that either you cannot travel or unwilling to travel at this time due to COVID. This would be especially important if COPR is about to expire or has already just expired given as below text it opens up options

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/immigration-applicants.html#approved
right, can't think of a con. have a need to raise the form then do so

what if you dont want to travel now if you are are currently living in a covid hotspot and want to travel at a later date where risk of exposure is less.
Can I fill the webform with this reason where I am unwilling to travel now and hope for an extension

Replace 'Can" with "Do" in my original post

Do you want to travel to Canada?
If Yes, you are allowed to do so as a permanent resident and you need to quarantine for 14 days.
If No, you need to raise a webform if you are interested in extending COPR.
