Hi Seniors,
I have one urgent quick question as per below.

I got my Canada PR card on 28-Sept-2015. I am going to apply citizenship application tomorrow (10-May-2020). I am NOT a SINGAPORE citizen.

Regards about the police certificate, as per cic , immediate 4 years before applied. Count back 4 years that mean from 10-May-2016 to 10-May-2020 for my immediate 4 years period.

I was in Singapore from 01-Oct-2015 to 21-Oct-2016, total 387days. As immediate 4 years, start from 10-May-2016 to 10-May-2020 for me. From 10-May-2016 to 21-Oct-2016 is 165days (start count immediate 4 years and I am back to Canada on 21-Oct-2016) and it is less than 183 days.

In this case,
1) Do I need to submit SINGAPORE police report as I stayed in Singapore more than 183days within 5 years? Or no need because CIC mention immediate 4 years?

2) Do I need to mention in the table, over 183 days and do not require to submit SINGAPORE police certificate due to less than 183 days due to immediate 4 years?
Please reply your comments as I need your input urgently. Thank you.

Regards,
M

As is the case generally, you can and should respond to all questions as accurately and honestly as possible. Including item 10.b. which asks about being in another country during the "past four (4) years."

1) Do I need to submit SINGAPORE police report as I stayed in Singapore more than 183 days within 5 years? Or no need because CIC mention immediate 4 years?

It appears that you will NOT need to submit a police certificate with the application. You may be asked to submit one later, so it might be prudent to proceed to obtain one just in case.

2) Do I need to mention in the table, over 183 days and do not require to submit SINGAPORE police certificate due to less than 183 days due to immediate 4 years?

Answer the question that is asked and answer it truthfully. Thus, if as of the date you make the application, during the past four years it is not the case that you were in Singapore for 183 days or more in a row, check [no]. In which event you do not need to list any country in the chart or provide a police certificate in order to make a complete application.

Again, IRCC may nonetheless request a police certificate later.

I have a situation that seems like I need/do not need PCC. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

Citizenship eligibility period: July 2015 - July 2020
I was in Canada from 20 Sept 2016 on Visitors visa until 19th May 2017 (Never stayed in home country after 20th Sep 2016 for more than 15 days)
PR from 20th May 2017

Do I need to submit the PCC because I was in Canada on visitor's visa before becoming PR?
