Travel Document Renewal

Good evening,

I am an approved refugee claimant who recieved approval for a meeting regarding PR before the COVID situation; however, the PR meeting has been postponed for the time being. I have a refugee travel document with a Saudi Arabian visa and would like to know if renewing the visa will bring over the visa.
I'd also like to know how to go about renewing the Travel document.

So far, I've found this for renewal:

PS: To clarify, I am in Canada and am looking to renew my RTD.

1. You are probably in for a long wait since RTDs are not being processed at this time, read the link you posted.
2. A question for the Saudis.

are you in Canada now or Saudi Arabia?
your question is not clear, do you want to renew your RTD or your Saudi visa?

Just a side question: have you travelled to KSA without a PR Card? Which type of visa have you applied for? If you don't mind sharing, please let us know your experience.

Can Permanent Residents of Canada who obtained their Permanent Residency under protected person category obtain refugee travel document? Or they will get certificate of identity?

You will get Travel documents. If you are protected person, i mean with a positive decision you can get your travel documents anytime and travel. (Except current COVID-19 situation.)

Hi there, You can go to Saudi Arabia with travel documents only for Umrah or Hajj only if you have Canadian PR.
Dubai, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait does not recognize or accept Canadian Refugee Travel documents.

As far i know after contracting Saudi Embassy, you cannot travel with RTD with out PR. PR must. Good luck
