Hi, Does the pay rate matters for supervisor job. I am working as a supervisor on basic pay rate 14 / hour

this would raise questions about your designation, roles and responsibilities
Im doing all the supervising duties like managing employees, making schedules, handling stock, annual budget, making promotions, quality control, hiring new employees and moreover I don’t even get pay stubs I get cheques . Will that cause a problem for filing Canada’s PR

performing supervisory duties at a basic pay rate might raise questions in the mind of the visa processing officer

Okay thank you.... Does the pay cheque create any problem in future ??... because people need pay stubs for filing PR but i get pay cheques ?

thats a heck a lot of responsibilities for less than 30K a yr.

As far as I know, your employer may give you an increase of $1/hr - $2/hr, another suggestion that I can give you is to relook at your NOC and match the job responsibilities accordingly

Are you currently working in Canada? If you are, then this salary is quite low for the duties and will raise a red flag - the officer may think that your job letter is exaggerating your duties for the sake of getting the PR.

If you aren't working in Canada but in a country where this rate makes sense, it won't matter. Also, if you are in Canada but in a very small city or someplace where salaries are generally low, that would make sense as well... though I'm not sure if there's anyplace that would qualify.

The salary and job duties need to be reasonably matched. If you say you're a senior executive at a big company and you make minimum wage, obviously that doesn't make sense. Your case isn't that extreme, but it's still somewhat questionable.

Are you being given a breakdown of your pay with deductions if you are getting a cheque? This sounds like a restaurant or retail. How many employees are you managing?

Hello
I worked at an entry level job in BC in 2018. By January 2019 i was promoted to the supervisor position and getting an hourly pay of $15. At that time in 2019 the minimum wage was 12.65 in BC. Then it increased to 13.85 in june 2019 and now it has increased to $14.60 as of june 2020. Can my application be rejected as the officer might think the salary is low?
looking forward to your replies
