I had the same situation. They returned my documents without sending email or notifications. Planning to send it this week. Is the pilot still available? Just complied my lackings.

Open work permit candidates can work for any employer in Canada.
But in order to apply for PR under this pilot you would need 24 months of work experience, so work and gather 24 months of experience.

Can this be requested even when you haven't gotten AOR. What details will be required to do this.

YEs, you can apply for this before AOR. Go to the website and you will find everything.
