Things have changed yet again, just looking to see if anyone knows how long it takes right now to get a extended work permit and a spousal visa approved right now. My boyfriend usually comes in march to work, but due to covid 19 he wont be able to come for another few weeks still. So if we were to be married in a month and a half or so would we still have enough time for all of this to take place before bis work visa expires in dec?.

I wouldnt make any travel plans to be honest and i wouldnt bank on getting any legal services such as marriage done any time soon due to covid19 Spousal visas are taking a year or more to process though i suspect it will take much longer as they clear out the back log later this year from the covid19 period

Unfortunately we dont have a choice for his travel plans, it's all through the migrant workers so when they say hes coming he has to get on the flight.

Thank you for the info

Unsure there are tons of delays. It may be difficult to get a marriage license, to get a marriage certificate, etc. OWP for spouses were taking close to 5 months beforecovid started so assume it will take longer.
