Long post, we urgently need some advice. Plzzz help!!
AOR - 29th oct 2019
Estimated completion date given- 29th April 2020.
On 23rd April'20, my husband received an email from IRCC stating the minimum eligibility for POF is not met. He is the primary applicant & he has included me(spouse) has non-accompanying. We didn't know that POF for both the applicants had to be shown(even if not moving to Canada now) So basically we made a huge blunder there unintentionally, our agent was also not well informed regarding this.
IRCC has given us a time period of 60 days to arrange for the documents/bank letters & extra funds.
Now the problem is he has only one bank account & he uses it often only to deposit his salary. Even after the submission of all the documents to IRCC he has used the same bank acc to submit a sum of his salary. (WE DONT KNOW IF ADDING EXTRA MONEY LATER TO THE ACCOUNT CONTAINING THE POF IS AGAINST IMMIGRATION POLICY)
So now his bank acc contains 8,55,000 INR in savings acc.
For spouse, it has to be 8,73,419 INR, so he needs to add extra 18,419 INR.
We are confused now about how to proceed with this, should he add this month's salary into the POF Or should we opt for any other procedures like a gift deed or something? Would it be right to add just 18,419 by gift deed ??
It feels really painful already to receive this letter 6 months post-AOR. Why couldn't they request for this earlier? Nevertheless, we are hoping for some positivity.
Please do help us with doubts & what other imp documents should we add... Thank You.

Post your question to the Express Entry section of the forum. You'll get the best advice there.

Your consultant is incompetent. POF must include both accompanying and non-accompanying applicants. This is very very basic knowledge. Anyone who doesn't know this should not be in the business of giving immigration advice.

The reason why you have only been given 60 days is because your application is incomplete and you're being given a chance to respond before IRCC refuses your application. IRCC could have just refused your application since it didn't meet minimum requirements. You're luckly you've received the PFL letter and are being given a chance to respond. If they had sent you the letter earlier, you still would have only been given 60 days to respond. The 60 days is standard for these situations.

Thank you so much for replying. We are still confused about how to proceed regarding the extra funds. We need to add 369 CAD extra to meet the eligibility for 2 applicants. Would it be okay if we opt for adding this month's salary into the POF or should we look out for gift deed ? PLz advice

See my post above again. You need to post your question to the Express Entry section of this forum. Once again, you will get the best advice there. I can't help you. Don't know the answer.

When you post your question there, strongly recommend that you also post the PFL letter (removing any personal details).
