Study Permit Extension Refused

Hi,
Does anyone know if I can still re-apply for study permit? My study permit extension refused today. I don’t see any exact reason in the online message. My initial study permit expired on 31st December 2019 and I am at the end of winter semester.
I believe I didn’t submit proper documentation or I may have shown less financial documents. Just a assumption. I am not sure. What options I have now?
Here is my timeline:
Study Permit Expires: December 31,2019
Extension Application Submission online : December 31,2019
List of Documents Submitted:
1.Enrollment letter
2.Bank Statement ($10k)
3.New Passport
4.Digital Photo
I don’t have any academic problems

Yes, I applied for extension and my bio metrics will be expired 2028.

I don't think you can make that conclusion from the list. Besides, you don't know the applicant's tuition fees.

I will assume you are out of status and would need to apply for restoration of status.

BTW are you now in your second one year program ?

Hi I am no expert here, but my daughter applied last year and she submitted a support letter from her school which included the amount that she needed to complete her studies also a current transcript which would show that she was in school for the entire time of her permit.

Also, I notice your date of application, it was pretty close. You applied on the last day, which could also be a factor.

You might need to call one of the immigration offices and seek some advice because you need to restore your status first. Not sure what your situation is if you can leave the country or not, or change your status to the visitor and apply to restore your status and continue your studies online.

I see somewhere that CIC is ok with online class up to 50% of your studies.

You have to provide LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE so that they can see how long you will be studying. Hence, they couldn’t confirm you program last date as it only shows semester ending date.

Yes, I did not provide that. Also, I have provided enrollment letter from Fall not from winter and I also changed from Engineering to Computer Science. I did not provide new acceptance letter. I feel like bang my head

My advice, please consult an immigration lawyer.
