Hello, my name is Khaledul Islam. I am from Bangladesh. Some days ago I have given my IELTS exam, and I have got an overall 5.5. Now I want to apply for an ESL course in seneca college. But I have a confusion that during my ESL course can I get a part-time job work permit? Because representative of Seneca college in Bangladesh they have told me about ESL program, there are some kind of ESL programs, one of them that will be perfect for me to get per time work permit during my ESL program and the program duration is 3-4 months.So is it possible and Can you please make me clear about the information?

No - you have been given wrong information. You will not be able to work in Canada if you come to take a 3-4 month ESL program. Your program needs to be at least 8 months long and full time in order for you to qualify to work part time while you study.

After completing the course I have to take any exam? If I will fail in the exam then what should I do?

Why are you coming all the way to Canada given the major costs of such a trip both for accommodation/living and assume the cost of the course when having completed the course you have to go home again. As for whether there is any exam you need to contact the college to find that out. An ESL course is of little value in applying for Canada Immigration as opposed to a good IELTS score.
