PCC India- Query

Hi All,

Had a question regards to PCC. I got my PCC from PSK in Bangalore but I have a questions with regards to it.

1. The issue date on the PCC says 03rd September, 2012 which is my passport issue date. But doesn't the PCC have to cover for a period of 10 years?
2. I have lived in a different address from 2010 to 2012. Should I get a separate PCC for that tenure? If the I need to get a PCC for 10 years.

You don't need a PCC for all the addresses you have stayed at. PCC for India is issued by ministry of external affairs and is applicable for whole of India irrespective of the state or city you stayed in.

It is certified that there is no adverse information against Srikanth S/O XXXXXXXXXXX, holder of Indian passport number XXXXX, issused at Bangalore on 03/09/2012. 03/09/2012 is my passport issue date. Is that fine?

What is the PCC issuance date ?? It should be mentioned in front of file number in upper right hand above your photo. If that is after your ITA it should be fine.
That passport issuance date mentioned should not create a problem for you.

Police Clearance Date mentioned on top is 06th March, 2020 which is correct. But why would they put my passport issue date in the report? Is that normal or a typo?

Yeah that is normal don't worry about it ...
