isolate where ever she or he wants to be as per plan if things were normal. Didn't they submit proof of funds with PR application saying that they can sustain themselves while in Canada for sometime till they don't find a job or something. There are allowing us and now its our duty not to be a burden on them and help the cause.
it's not about having money to sustain oneself. the problem is that a new immigrant will most likely have to go out for supplies, to find housing etc. the best one can do is to lock oneself up in a hotel/airbnb and get everything delivered. but what if someone falls sick? then what?

I want to know this too. How to self-isolate for two weeks when I have no family or friends in Canada? Just stay locked up in hotel?

Yes I have to travel if they open the border next week. However, my bigger issue is that the UAE is not letting residents enter the country till April 1 and if that is extended then I will be in bigger trouble. I know they have said that they will offer plenty of flexibility if people are unable to complete the landing before the expiry of the COPR due to COVID-19 but would like some clarity on the extra time they will provide.
Guys MY COPR EXPIRES ON APRIL 1ST
I dont want to travel in these conditions , in terms of jobs , housing ,etc

however , there is no guarantee that COPRs will be extended , technically for me , may be i would be allowed to land there , but i will pay a ticket worth 3 k USD and will loose my current residency and job in my current country , I am in GCC

I feel very bad , I can not sleep , I am all alone locked in my room under lock down - please extend my COPR

most stores are open and people are moving around. this doesnt look like as big a deal as people are making it out to be, unless of course you catch the virus then you are on your own.

I think this could be in your favor ,because your country blocked the outbound flights
my country only block inbound ones :(((( - IRCC could refuse my extension

I have sent a web form 6 days ago , I got a very generic reply that said go to this link for COVID-19 instructions - which is the Web form link. !!

I am really struggling - Corona is ruining my life

We clamored to be allowed to travel, now COPRs holder can travel, next we want an extension. Extension would be a tall order to be honest.

The Canadian government would not risk the lives of her people, that is why this was a step-wise roll out.

Airlines have adjusted their schedules, flights would be available however might be expensive.

COVID 19 is all over the place, the question is are you safer in your country than you would be in Canada. IMO i would rather be in Canada.

If you have means to land, please land. If you want to raise web-form then raise it. Airlines are taking their own measure too, they have staffs at the airport and on board they wont risk their lives to fly, so if an airline is flying they too are well concerned about their people's safety and your safety

Each person to their own decision

what further response do you want, if you cant fly i assure you they will treat your case later.

IRCC call centres in Canada are closed so don't expect any response for now.

okay, try to stay calm. As of now, no COPRs are allowed to land. So don't buy any tickets and waste $3k on anything. Given the uncertain circumstances, it is very likely IRCC extends some COPRs.

There are lot of folks here in the same boat as you. IRCC will be accommodating.

Start next week...they will provide more details on how we will proceed...I'm.sire there is a flexibility for people who can't travel or people who are living in areas where outbound flight are restricted and so on...
that has always been there. The message has not changed if you cant fly raise a webform. If you can fly, we are expecting you thats the message.

People should stop all these tell IRCC we cant fly to ask for extension - note extension or not things would be stalled significantly

Human being are indeed insatiable, soon we would ask Canada to fly us down to Canada
