There is some confusion about immediate families bit. Immediate families of Citizens only or Permanent residents' as well?

Immediate family will likely be included. There may be some exceptions but those are likely to be children travelling with parents.

It should be clarified at some point today or tomorrow. I would guess it to mean spouses/common-law partners and dependent children of Canadian citizens and PRs.

1) I would like to know when would the travel restrictions come to an end ? Any expected timeline ?
2) I would be completing my masters by this sem and would I be Eligible to apply for pgwp from home country considering the current situation ?

1.Unknown.
2.If school advises that you can study from home/online then this has no affect on PGWP according to IRCC. I beliebve they will do the sensible thing here and not punish people, but again unknown territory.

he can apply but probably he wont be getting his visa anytime soon all travel to Canada will be banned from 18th March Wednesday
