Not sure, with the postponement of the 18th March draw the scores are likely to go up. Range 475-480.
I hope they stay around the 470 mark.
it will go down now, ECA not coming, IELTS not happening.
You will get invite either in next draw if not then following to it.

This situation will bring down the score in coming months , may be we can go back to 430 level due to EAC and IETLS blockage

There are people dying every day from a global pandemic and you all are just here hoping for a drop in CRS scores? Wow.

Pandemic is sad, nobody is willing people to suffer but what do you want people to do here. Discuss about finding cure for Covid19??? There are expert around the world trying their level best to cure this plague. Do you have any better suggestion to discuss here than say it otherwise don't poke nose for no reason.

The pandemic is a situation out of our control, and I don't think anyone is actively wishing for things to get worse. If there has been anyone who has done so then shame on them. However, sharing the facts of the situation as it relates to Express Entry is to be expected on a forum that discusses immgration to Canada. Understanding how this affects the Express Entry process will allow people to put things in perspective.

Major source for EE applicants is India I thing, How about ielts/celpip center over there!! Are they suspended in entire country or just delayed in some provinces of India.

According to IELTS COVID-19 page the only test center affected in India is:
  • Kottayam, Kerala - all testing suspended until 21 March 2020
That will reopen this weekend. IELTS-G is scheduled for this weekend afaik.

Celpip is also still testing in India.

So I believe that ielts would not be chief factor for CRS, WES slowed down might have a little affect on influx If IQAS and other bodies slowed down their process too.

Anyone who's tested both the IELTS-G and the CELPIP can help out in understanding if the CELPIP is better scoring?
My IELTS-G scores are: LRSW 8 - 7.5 - 8.5 - 7.

I need CLB10 to max out in the current situation!

It depends on the test taker but from my point of view,IELTS is still the favorite.maxing out is achievable with persistence. Can be daunting sometimes thou .just keep doing your best

So what are we supposed to do? Heal the world ? We pray everyone stays safe wherever they are in the globe but we also deserve to aspire and continue to chase our dreams . We have been here even before the whole pandemic

It seems all the ECA websites have a notice indicating delays or suspensions until further notice.

In relation to your point about IELTS not being a factor, I wasn't too sure of the breakdown of applicants by country so had to google for some info.

End of Year Report 2018 shows the majority of applicants are applying from within Canada. 49% in 2017, and 45% in 2018. That surprised me tbh.

Guys the CIC news forum is getting updates eventually we may recieve update about yesterday's PNP only draw too.As of now the recent article says PEI holds the regular monthly draws and it was mentioned on their website too that PEI is not going to give any ITA's due to COVID-19 impact until further notice. That leaves us a clue as we havent seen any information about holding the draws for EE so they might update about the draw happened on 18th march.

Just FYI, IELTS results for the March 7th General test are due tomorrow, so the next draw will still have an influx of those individuals assuming the results aren't affected by delays too.

Even if they skip draws because of corona, which is understandable, they will have to conduct extra draws to achieve their target for the year, so don't panic. We might slow down now but probably there will be a some kind of boost on ITA for the second semester or a higher target for 2021 to make up for this time.

There might be the boost but the people that are more worried is about whose PGWP is going to expire in coming 3 or 4months and waiting for ITA to apply for BOWP..People that cant get LMIA have no other option and even who can get LMIA the process takes even more time than usual in the current scenario and may not be having enough time for extension..The rest of them whoever is having time until year ending are safe.Hopefully everything goes to normal soon.
