Visa Category B-1 , Visitor-Business

I have been issued Visa Category B-1 , Visitor-Business.

I would like to inquire if If advised category is only valid for business visit or i can vacation in Canada on this visa type. My first entry will be for visit and stay will be less than 5 days, after which i will leave. I was hoping i can come back as a tourist after a while.

You should be getting a different visa if you are coming on vacation. Some have been refused entry if they return for tourism.

Yes, as long as it has not expired. Make sure you have documents that support your business visit to Canada. See Business visitors: Checklists for more information.

If it is a multiple-entry visa and it has not expired, you can use it to enter Canada for both business and tourism. If it is a single-entry visa, you will need a new visa.
