Biometrics: we do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes. If we need your biometrics, we will send you a message in your account telling you how to submit biometrics.

Same here. I arrived in Dec 2017

But mind you even my application says the same even today.. "We do not need your fingerprints"... However, I received an email few seconds before the AoR which has pdfs (Biometric request letter) for myself and spouse. No request for kiddo as she is less than 14 years. The letter had bar and QR style code which was scanned successfully and biometrics submitted successfully by USCIS. Online application does not show biometrics info. (Yet).

Yes, like everything with our PNP application, this is also confusing :confused:.
I hope they answer my consultation.

I checked again my CIC account and found out this, in "Details about your application status", under "Background check" states: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
Do you guys have the same in your accounts?

Same with me (even EE). Generally, BGC is initiated right after AOR is received. If not, at some point it will. There are some technical terms like NA or IP1/IP2 people use to determine BGC progress during the PR process. This step will remain active until the final decision is made.

Very soon you will see the status changed to- February 20, 2020 Completed.
As long it reflects your bio-metrics info, that's perfect.

My date Received is November 15, 2019... not the date of the AoR
That is so confusing!
The estimated completion date: May 15, 2021 --> What about yours?

@Fonca, I've asked in another thread, and one person aswered me this:
"I got my biometrics fee refunded back too. This is completely normal. Inland applications received before Dec 3/2019 do not have to get their biometrics done as far as I know."
