Hi,

I just completed my application and submitted, and after going through I realized I uploaded the digital photo in .png instead of .jpg.

Is this going to be an issue considering they accepted the png format, and if so what can I do to remedy the issue?

Many Thanks

If there will be an issue, they will come back and ask for photos in .jpg format. So dont worry.

Hello NightFox,
How did it go then? Did they ask for a .jpg after all?

@tapioca did you sort out the issues related to the documentation / attestation for common law spouse?
Hello Supernovamuz! Thanks for following up. I sent a notarized IMM 5409 form plus a letter of explanation with life insurance, rental receipts, and photos.
I just re-re-applied yesterday (third time's a charm). So I'll probably know in about 15 days. I'll keep you posted if you want.

i think they would probably accept a png one, if not they would come back to you to send a jpg format picture.
I hope they will if they need to.

Don't worry, i haven't heard of anyone ever getting rejected because of wrong photo formats.

Although at worst it might cause a delay.
No cause for concern then. Thanks, smash1984!
